Investment Information
Full Cycle Bioplastics’ patents cover the process to convert biomass into PHA bioplastic. This process enables the conversion of food scrap and agricultural byproducts into volatile fatty acids and then into fully compostable bioplastics. This allows for the production of PHA for up to 66% less than the cost of existing bioplastics processes and existing producers of recycled plastics with the possibility of reaching cost-parity with petroleum-based plastics.
- Technology proven at pilot scale in a partnership with Google, operating a 5kg PHA/day facility converting Google’s food scrap into plastics validated by Google’s R&D team.
- Only patented technology to convert “uncleaned” organic waste into PHA.
- $7B+ and growing market today for PHA at prices above those patented processes could produce at once scaled.
The global plastics market addressable using PHA is over $270B annually and growing; combination of regulatory, consumer and corporate pressures likely to increase share
